<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for analyzing a data stream and generating the data stream that can be used by existing AV equipment when a variable length data stream is transmitted by ignoring data alignment in a client using a network. <P>SOLUTION: A data stream analysis apparatus 1 includes a stream buffer 11 which receives and holds a part of a variable length data stream as input data, where the variable length data stream has header information and transfer information, a stream information holder 12 which holds stream information about the variable length data stream, and a data analyzer 13 which analyzes input data newly received and the stream information, generates new stream information using the input data and the stream information when the header information cannot be detected, stores the new stream information into the stream information holder, and outputs transfer information included in the input data when the header information is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
