The present invention discloses novel substituted imidazole compounds of Formula I: (see formula I) which have H3 receptor antagonist activity or dual histamine-H, and H3 receptor antagonist activity as well as methods for preparing such compounds. In another embodiment, the invention discloses pharmaceutical compositions comprising such imidazoles of Formula I as well as methods of using them to treat allergy, congestion, inflammatory and CNS-related diseases and others.
