<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of yielding an excellent color image free from color shift with more inexpensive constitution than the conventional apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus using an intermediate transfer body and a secondary transfer body coming into contact with the intermediate transfer body, which are driven and controlled independently, has a load detection means for detecting load of a driving source which drives at least either the intermediate transfer body or the secondary transfer body, and finely adjusts and controls revolving speed of a driving source of either one so that a load detection value output by the load detection means can be within a previously set value in set predetermined timing under a condition that the intermediate transfer body and the secondary transfer body come into contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
