TRANSPARENT RESIN COMPOSITION

A molded object comprising a highly transparent amorphous cycloolefin resin is obtained under wide molding conditions. The molded object comprising an amorphous cycloolefin resin is improved in transparency. A transparent resin composition is used which comprises an amorphous cycloolefin resin, a metal rosinate, a fatty acid ester or fatty acid amide, and a metal salt of a fatty acid. It is preferable that the metallic element of the metal rosinate be of the same kind as the metallic element of the fatty acid metal salt. More preferably, the metallic element of the metal rosinate be magnesium.
