PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translucent member having reflection prevention function and secured scratch resistance, and also to provide a timepiece equipped therewith. SOLUTION: A cover glass 1 as the translucent member is equipped with a translucent base material 10. The base material 10 has a reflection prevention layer 11, and a lubrication layer 12 provided along a surface layer of the reflection prevention layer 11 on at least a part of its body surface part 10A.
