METHOD FOR IMPROVING STORAGE STABILITY OF GLUTATHIONE

Disclosed is a method for improving storage stability of glutathione in a solid composition containing glutathione and arginine. Also disclosed is a solid composition containing glutathione and arginine, which has improved storage stability of glutathione. Specifically, when a solid composition containing glutathione and arginine is produced, an organic acid is made to be coexistent with glutathione and arginine. Examples of the organic acid may include citric acid, tartaric acid, ascorbic acid, malic acid, malonic acid, succinic acid, fumaric acid and maleic acid. The amount of the organic acid to be coexistent with glutathione and arginine is usually 0.1-2 parts by weight per 1 part by weight of arginine.
