PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for safely and efficiently peeling gastropods adhering to the wall surface of a crawl or aquarium and exhibiting a peeling effect having immediate effect as well as sustained effect. SOLUTION: The problem is solved by the method for peeling gastropods adhering to the wall of a crawl or aquarium, which includes the addition of nicotinic acid, nicotinamide or their mixture (component A) and ethyl p-aminobenzoate (component B) separately or at the same time to the crawl or aquarium containing gastropods adhering to its wall surface in a manner to attain a nicotinic acid concentration in the crawl or aquarium of 1-100 mg/L (the nicotinamide concentration is the value reduced to the nicotinic acid concentration) and an ethyl p-aminobenzoate concentration of 10-100 mg/L.
