When a material during the recording is converted into an MXF file and is transferred, the header generation function (121) of an MXF obtaining unit (12) is used not to record the timeline information of the entire clip on the header portion of each of the MXF files of a video, an audio, and an ancillary but to record only the timeline information of the files themselves. A clip information generation function (123) is used to newly generate, in addition to these MXF files, a clip information MXF file for only recording the timeline information of a current clip, the timeline information of clips up to the previous one file, and link information and output the generated file to an editing machine (2). |
