摘要 A method for controlling drive current of WDM-PON(Wavelength Division Multiplexed-Passive Optical Network) optical transmitter and a system thereof are transmit accurate data regardless of a surrounding environmental change by controlling a driving current of an optical transmitter based on a spectrum of an optical signal which is received by an optical receiver. An attenuation value of a variable optical attenuator is set up as X(S110). An optical power(Px) which is received by a monitoring photo DIODE of an optical transmitter is detected(S120). The attenuation value of a variable optical attenuator is set up as Y(S130). An optical power(Py) which is received by the monitoring photo DIODE of the optical transmitter is detected(S140). By using the detected optical power(Px, Py) as described above, an optical power(Pout) of the optical signal outputted to the common terminal of 1xN optical multiplex/demultiplexer is calculated(S150). A driving current is controlled based on the optical power(Pout) produced as described above(S160).
