PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adhesive product from rotating with a tape-shaped separator, and prevent the separator from going zigzag when the direction of the separator is quickly changed for applying the adhesive product such as a label temporarily attached to the separator to a target. SOLUTION: The separator is provided with lines of perforations to make it torn off to a center strip 11, a right strip 12, and a left strip 13 along the width direction. Three peeling means having wedge-shaped cross section are provided to be arranged in three lines, with their surfaces perpendicular to the cross section arranged in the same plane, and their wedge-shaped tips set in the same direction. The positions of the wedge-shaped tips of the right and the left peeling means are set to coincide with each other, while the wedge-shaped tip of the center peeling means is set to protrude or retract from the wedge-shaped tips of the right and left peeling means by a specific distance. The separator is thus peeled in two stages, thereby no rotation occurs in the latter-stage peeling, or no zigzag going will occur. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
