<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element which is suitable for use in quantum information processing and quantum information communication and which can evaluate operation. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting element 1 is provided with a substrate 10, a first conductive type first semiconductor layer 11 provided on one principal plane of the substrate 10, a first conductive type second semiconductor layer 12 provided on a first region on the first semiconductor layer 11, a second conductive type third semiconductor layer 14 provided on the second semiconductor layer 12, a superconducting first electrode 15 and a superconducting second electrode 16 provided on the third semiconductor layer 14, a third electrode 17 provided on a second region on the first semiconductor layer 11, and a semiconductor quantum dot region 13, provided between the second semiconductor layer 12 and the third semiconductor layer 14 below, in region where the first electrode 15 is provided. A through-hole 18 is provided at a portion of the first electrodes 15 above the semiconductor quantum dot region 13, and a space 19 is provided between the first electrode 15 and the second electrode 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
