PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire enhanced in the durability of the belt while being suppressed in a biased abrasion, particularly the biased abrasion developing from the shoulder part end. SOLUTION: In this pneumatic tire, a plurality of belt layers 11 and a tread disposed on the radial outer side of the tire and having a plurality of circumferential main grooves 1 are formed on the crown part. A soft rubber layer 2 overlapped with the end of the belt layer 11 in the radial and lateral directions of the tire is disposed in the shoulder part of the tread. The soft rubber layer 2 is formed of a rubber lower in 100% modulus at 25°C and loss tangent tanδthan the tread rubber. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
