<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shock even when a request output is changed abruptly during a gear change. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for a drive unit for a vehicle having an electric transmission mechanism for controlling electrically a rotation speed of an electric motor to change a ratio of an output rotation speed to an input rotation speed, and a mechanical transmission mechanism, and constituted to change at least any one out of a gear ratio of the continuously variable electric transmission mechanism and a gear ratio of the mechanical transmission mechanism in response to the change of the request output, is provided with a gear change request detecting means (step S2) for detecting the request output during the gear change by the mechanical transmission mechanism, and a rotation speed limiting means (step S3) for limiting the rotation speed of the electric motor to a rotation speed different from the rotation speed determined by the request output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
