PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a camera that a person requested to perform photography can photograph an image satisfying a client without retry. SOLUTION: A display range R1 of a through-picture on an LCD 102 (liquid crystal panel 71) is set narrower than an entire region R0 of actually captured image data by reducing a finder visual field rate by 20% respectively longitudinally and laterally, for example. Therefore, composition looks bad in a post-view image but the region around the post-view image is also recorded in an actually recorded image displayed in a reproduction mode and the head or feet may be prevented from being cut in the upper and lower parts of the image, thereby avoiding retry of photography.
