The method involves determining values of capacities correlated with values of pressures of a multi-phase fluid. A rapid change of one pressure in a measuring device such that solution rates between liquid phase and gaseous phase of the fluid is not changed. A dielectric proportionality coefficient of the measuring device related to the liquid phase is calculated based on the determined values of pressures and capacities. Quantity of nucleation gas dispersed in the fluid is determined based on the coefficient and the values of the capacities. An independent claim is also included for a device for measuring and regulating nucleation gas.
