<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device which enhances the temporary assemblability of a base member without complicating the constitution of the base member and that of a door panel. <P>SOLUTION: This door handle device comprises: the door panel 2 in which a portion 20 to be locked is formed at the peripheral edge of a handle mounting hole 2b; a gasket 6 which is attached to the outer surface-side peripheral edge of each of the handle mounting holes 2b; the base member which is temporarily assembled to the door panel 2 by inserting a hook portion 21 into each of the handle mounting holes 2b from the side of the inner surface of the door panel 2 and locking each of the hook portions 21 into each of the portions 20 to be locked, by sliding movement; a handle body which is attached to the base member from the side of the outer surface of the door panel 2; and an escutcheon which is arranged on the side of the outer surface of the door panel 2 and near the side of the other end of the handle body, and fixed to the base member 3. The gasket 6 is provided with a slide inhibiting portion 6b which inhibits the hook portion 21 from making a sliding motion in the direction b of coming off the portion 20 to be locked, in the state of the temporary assembly of the base member to the door panel 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
