ELECTRIC MOTOR STATOR AND PERMANENT MAGNET-TYPE ELECTRIC MOTOR USING THE SAME

A permanent magnet-type electric motor having high efficiency and reduced size that are achieved by thinning the wall thickness of resin insulation components of an electric motor stator and by providing an insulation structure excellent workability and quality. In the motor stator, each of two resin insulation components (12) has a long side (12a) facing a side face (14a) of a tooth of a laminated core (11) and two short sides (12b) formed at both ends of the long side (12a) so as to be integral with the long side and facing both end faces, in the lamination direction, of the laminated core (11). The two resin insulation components (12) cooperatively hold the laminated core (11) from the direction of the surfaces of electromagnetic steel plates of the laminated core (11) and are fitted together by engagement sections (12ba, 12bb) formed at short sides (12b).
