IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, ITS CONTROL METHOD, PROGRAM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain correct color matching effect on the whole display screen even when being observed from a front face and in an oblique direction to a large-sized display.

SOLUTION: An image display includes the display 103 for displaying images, and FDD 107 for storing color matching information when observing the display 103 from a plurality of directions. CPU 101 calculates an angle made by each display region of the display 103 divided based on the plurality of the directions and an observer based on a relative position of the observer performing the observation and the display 103, and performs color matching based on the calculated angle and the color matching information when displaying the images on the display 103.
