A core cotton type writing implement capable of preventing ink from excessively flowing out from a writing part formed integrally with core cotton and further preventing the writing part from being displaced in the longitudinal direction. The front end of the core cotton (60) inserted into a shaft tube (40) is projected from the front end of the shaft tube (40) for use as a writing part (61). The writing implement is characterized in that an annular projection (43a) pressing the outer peripheral surface of the core cotton (60) is formed on the front end inner peripheral surface of the shaft tube (40). |
