DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, ITS RECORDER APPARATUS, TERMINAL EQUIPMENT AND PROGRAM RECORDING/DISTRIBUTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a program on a different channel while viewing a program in IP broadcasting using IP multicast distribution.

SOLUTION: The distribution system is provided with a recorder server 5 capable of accessing an IP network 2 where content data (a)-f are multicast distributed from an IP converted distribution device 1. An IPTV 4 transmits a program recording request (contents e) to the recorder server 5 while viewing the program of content data c. In response to the request, the recorder server 5 records specified program contents from received multicast streams to the recorder of the recorder server 5. Then, in the case of receiving a program reproduction request from the IPTV 4, the recorded program contents are distributed to the IPTV 4 by IP unicast.
