PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method using a TCP/IP network for communication without depending on a server and connecting to other communication apparatus rapidly and reliably without requiring registration or IP address assignment request to the server during communication. SOLUTION: The communication method is provided with an address exchanging step of exchanging IP addresses between communication apparatuses in a non-IP network or in a communication link, and a communication step of performing communications between the communication apparatuses through the TCP/IP network, using the IP addresses exchanged in the address exchanging step.
