A transflective liquid crystal display device and a fabricating method thereof are provided to improve a contrast ratio or uniformity of image by forming cell gaps with the same size. A transflective liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate(121), a second substrate(123), a liquid crystal layer(122), a thin film transistor, and a pixel electrode(117a,117b). The first substrate is opposite to the second substrate. The liquid crystal layer is located between the first substrate and the second substrate. The thin film transistor is formed on the first substrate. The pixel electrode is connected to the thin transistor and has a reflecting part and a transmitting part. The reflecting part forms a reflecting electrode. The transmitting part forms a transmitting electrode. The reflecting electrode is made of conductive material.
