<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproducing apparatus and a video reproducing method preventing that, when reproducing video contents, a part of reproduction control images to be displayed by video data for reproduction control such as a graphics plane can not be displayed. <P>SOLUTION: A video reproducing apparatus 1 comprises a video decoder 11 which generates, in a fixed period, video data for reproduction control for displaying reproduction control images of video contents when reproducing the video contents; and a data processor unit 10 which extends an updating period to update the video data for reproduction control than the fixed period within displaying all the reproduction control images to be displayed by the video data for reproduction control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
