PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin display device capable of preventing damages on a circuit board by disposing the circuit board at a position not influenced by vibration even when an area around the center of a backlight chassis resonates by vibration or impact during transportation or after installation. SOLUTION: The thin display device comprises: a thin display cabinet; a thin display unit main body housed in the thin display cabinet; a backlight chassis constituting the back face of the thin display unit main body; an eaves-like overhang component covering from near the side of the thin display unit main body to the whole or a part of the peripheral portion of the backlight chassis except for the center portion; and a circuit board disposed as at least partially fixed to the overhang component. Otherwise, the thin display device includes, in addition to the above components, a center angle at least a part of which is fixed as footing to the overhang component and bridging the back face side of the thin display unit main body.
