FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to area of mechanical engineering, in particular to V-belts of various functional purposes. The said belt incorporates an elastomer substrate with compression and extension layers made as separate elements arranged on a cord layer. The aforesaid cord layer represents rubberised cord-fabric bands with strong threads, and with extreme threads being arranged at a distance of, at least two thread diameters from the belt side working surface . ^ EFFECT: longer belt life; higher wear resistance and lower costs. ^ 5 dwg |
