A method for processing traffic data is provided. The method includes receiving the traffic data (21,22,23) including a first identifier, information corresponding to a prediction of travel speed for a particular link, information corresponding to a location associated with the particular link, and information corresponding to a message management structure (21) including information corresponding to a version number of information reflected in the traffic data, the first identifier being an identifier revealing that the traffic data relates to a prediction of travel speed for the particular link. The method further includes decoding the traffic data. |
