The handle (2) has a set of connecting devices (22) swivellably mounting on connecting devices of a sweeping machine (1). A conically-shaped insertion pin (23) of each of the former connecting devices is inserted free of play into a conically-shaped bushing (15) of each of the latter connecting devices. The pin includes a securing lug (230) that secures the pin in the bushing. The securing lug is aligned with a recess (150) provided on the bushing. The former connecting devices include grooves (24) distributed over periphery of the former connecting devices. An independent claim is also included for a sweeping machine comprising machine-side connecting devices.
