PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling vehicle capable of retracting a rear bumper at the position which can prevent a contact with a cargo box during dumping and a contact with a loaded article discharged from the cargo box. SOLUTION: The cargo handling vehicle is equipped with a vehicle body frame 1, the cargo box 2 which is mounted on the vehicle body frame 1 and can turn ready for dumping in a backward inclination, and the rear bumper 5 provided at the rear part of the vehicle body frame 1 turnably around a horizontal axis. The rear bumper 5 can be turned upward from a rear projection position projected rearward from the vehicle body frame 1 to a storage position to be in non-contact with the rear part lower end of the cargo box 2 during dumping.
