FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: cartridge is intended for firing from small-arm weapons without effects, which can be detected using visual, sound and infrared detectors. The cartridge contains case chamfer, fulminating detonator, propellent charge, sabot-obturator and bullet. Sabot-obturator is done with cavity, which hosts propellent charge; its cylindrical lateral surface is continuous, and front end face contains chamfer, which is coupled with circular discharge recess. These two create a tilt protrusion in relation to bullet axis. The bullet is done from steel core and external bimetallic jacket with centering and leading parts. External bimetallic jacket of the bullet is equipped with circular rims on both front and rear end faces of steel core. The bullet is placed into shell, which is neck-reapped onto bullet leading part, and is split-type connected to sabot-obturator in the rear end face. ^ EFFECT: cartridge manufacturing technology facilitation, bullet piercing performance increase, weapon barrel wear decrease. ^ 5 cl, 4 dwg |
