PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating condition inspecting apparatus capable of evaluating a minimum necessary evaluation sample sampled in rapid stoppage in a wet or dry state without using normal drying equipment and attaining downsizing as the whole. SOLUTION: The coating condition inspecting apparatus including an unwinding apparatus 2 for unwinding a long base material to be coated, a coating head 1 for applying a coating liquid on the base material to be coated and a winding apparatus 3 for winding the base material to be coated, has a scraping means 4 for scraping the coating liquid applied on the base material to be coated before the winding of the base material to be coated.
