PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave shielding plate and a radio wave shielding system using a metal mesh excellent in wind-resistant performance, rain-fall-resistant performance, and snow-load-resistant performance and capable of obtaining a radio wave shielding effect. SOLUTION: In the radio wave shielding plate using a metal mesh, by utilizing the properties that radio waves are transmitted depending on a mesh structure and the properties that radio waves diffract and come circuitously from the periphery of the shielding plate, the mesh structure is devised and the transmitted waves and the diffracted waves are canceled out. For example, in a metal mesh shielding plate 11 in the selected drawing, an interval (a) between metal rods is 100 mm, a thickness (d) of the metal rod is 20 mm, and a width of a mesh is 80 mm and by using the metal mesh shielding plate 11, a shielding effect toward the backside can be obtained.
