<p>A protective ducting for pipes, cables or lines 2 comprising at least one module 100 is described, each of said modules 100 comprising a generally cylindrical body 1 involving the pipe, cable or line thereby to form an enclosed cylindrical inner channel 4 for housing the said pipe, cable or line 2, said body 1 being provided with one single longitudinal split 41, a tip-shaped end and a bag-shaped end, said body 1 being further provided with an internal cavity 31 for housing one single metal tension band 32 per module 100, said cavity 31 having two open ends so that the said tension band 32 can pass through the said cavity 31 of an adjacent module 100 in order to secure a first module 100 to a second module 100, at least a portion of said tension band 32 being so contained and protected in the interior of said body 1; and an element 33 for locking said metal tension band 32 and impart stability to said modules 100 on the pipe, cable or line 2 to be protected. The method for the installation of modules 100 forming the protective ducting for pipes, cables or lines 2 is also described.</p> |
