PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for the growth acceleration or disease inhibition of a plant without causing bad effects to environment such as air pollution, improving the growth and disease resistance of the plant and stably performing the production of an agricultural crops permanently in a good efficiency. SOLUTION: This material for the growth acceleration or disease inhibition of the plant is provided by carrying fungi belonging to the genus Phoma on a carbonized material of beer lees.
