PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a manganese positive electrode plate for batteries that can be formed thin, without causing reduction in the production efficiency by a hot-roll method for coping with the increase in the output of a nonaqueous primary battery, using a manganese dioxide positive electrode. SOLUTION: A low-boiling-point solvent having a boiling point of not higher than 100°C at atmospheric pressure, such as IPA (isopropyl alcohol), acetone, and DME, in addition to water as a solvent of manganese dioxide mix 1 slurry with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) as binder is passed through hot rolling as a slurry, where the solvent is mixed by 5-16% to the weight of water for pressure-bonding to a collector.
