<p>A method for automatically designing vehicle parts by using an Excel file as a drawing command database and a recording medium storing a program thereof are provided to enable a designer to easily design the vehicle parts in a 2D CAD(Computer-Aided Design) with a few of input values, and extend or correct the number of vehicle parts to be automatically designed without any programming by directly modifying contents of a database. A list is presented by extracting a part command from a part information database(12). The list is presented by extracting a specification command from the part information database based on a selected part name(15). The list is presented by extracting detail part information from the part information database based on a selected specification name(17). Excel is executed and the final input value is transferred to the Excel file, which is the drawing command database(20). A part drawing is generated by enabling a VBA(Visual Basic Application) module to sequentially process the value automatically calculated in Excel one by one(23). The generated part drawing and the part information are connected by a block(25).</p> |
