PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration device capable of effectively calibrating the platinum resistance thermometer of long stem type at the triple point temperature with synthetic standard of uncertainty within≤10mK (10 milli-Kelvin) which is needed in the industrial world. SOLUTION: The low temperature calibration device comprises the comparison calibration block provided with housing for storing the reference thermometer and the thermometer to be calibrated in the space of the heat insulated vessel, the mixed liquid of liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen is supplied so as to immerse the comparison calibration block, and the agitator for stirring the mixed liquid.
