<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning apparatus of an internal combustion engine capable of driving the internal combustion engine at approximately a rated output point and retaining a sufficient exhaust gas cleaning function. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cleaning apparatus of an internal combustion engine for cleaning an exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine is provided with a DPF 23 having a cell density of 300 cpsi or higher and 400 cpsi or lower and a DeNOx catalyst 33 with a catalyst density equal to or lower than the cell density of the DPF 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
