PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition of an effective sparingly soluble drug, e.g. 5-chloro-1H-indole-2-carboxylic acid [(1S)-benzyl-(2R)-hydroxy-3-((3R,4S)-dihydroxy-pyrrolidin-1-yl-)-3-oxypropyl]amide, to provide a method for producing the composition and to provide a dosage form from the composition. SOLUTION: The method for producing the pharmaceutical composition comprises the following steps: (a) forming particles of a solid amorphous dispersion containing a soluble drug and a concentration- enhancing polymer, respectively, (b) formulating the particles of the solid amorphous dispersion and a matrix substance and forming a formulation, (c) feeding the resultant formulation into a melting and coagulating step and forming a molten mixture containing the particles of the solid amorphous dispersion and the matrix substance and (d) cooling the molten mixture and forming solid particles containing the particles of the solid amorphous dispersion and the matrix substance.
