PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distortion compensation amplifier capable of obtaining the stable high distortion compensation amount, a distortion control being stable even for aging, space saving and energy saving, and distortion compensation at a low cost. SOLUTION: An analogue predistortion method is employed as a distortion compensation method. In distortion compensation amplifying, an anti-parallel diode is used for a distortion generator 13 and bias points are set unbalance to generate only three-dimensional distortion. An element of high efficiency can be used as the amount of distortion compensation is increased. As a configuration, a delay line and a distortion amplifier are deleted to reduce a circuit scale, obtaining lower cost, space saving, and energy saving. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
