<p>A method of controlling energy consumption in at least one unit in a motor vehicle comprises defining and identifying different operational stages in the unit and storing these in a function table, comparing the free operational energy of a stage with the available energy in the motor vehicle, releasing more energy than this when necessary and available or retaining the energy is not available or reducing the released energy if the available energy is less than the requirement by the unit.</p> |
