<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable assembly and use of a finger contact part reversibly for preventing a plunger rod from falling off the barrel of a syringe. <P>SOLUTION: A through passage 54 is so formed in the finger contact part 5 as to mount or dismount the flange 22 provided at the open end 21 of the barrel 2 and through holes 51a and 52a to which the outer periphery of the barrel is fitted are bored respectively in upper and lower plate parts 51 and 52 so as to be eccentric to each other. Upper and lower slits 51c and 52c are formed in the through holes 51a and 52a respectively into a sector shape in a direction opposite to each other. When the finger contact part 5 is mounted on the flange 22, the periphery of the through hole 51a of the upper plate part 51 sticks out of the inner periphery of the barrel 2 and hence, is interfered with a plunger stopper 3 to keep the plunger rod 4 from slipping off.
