<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED emission type tire air pressure checker capable of easily checking the air pressure of a vehicle tire by color display by lighting or blinking a display lamp of an LED or the like irrespective of brightness or darkness. <P>SOLUTION: A valve core is opened by operating an operation member 5 in a checking means 2 in the fitting axial direction of the valve core b. Air in the tire is introduced into a body 1, a detector 6 in which a movement quantity is changed in the fitting axial direction of the valve core according to the pressure of the introduced air is detected by detection means 7, 8.
