A method and apparatus for sharing a channel among coordinator-based wireless networks are provided. The method includes a coordinator (230) of a first wireless network (110) selecting a channel through which data arc transmitted and received, selecting a period during which the channel is in a sleep period, setting the selected period as an active period of the first wireless network (110), and transmitting data containing information about the active period to the first wireless network (110). |
