PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device 1 capable of suppressing the variation of actual injection amount in when the effect of the pressure pulsation of fuel is large as in the case of multiple injection. SOLUTION: This fuel injection device 1 comprises a pressure reducing valve 7 reducing a hole closing pressure by opening a back pressure chamber 6 in addition to a control valve element 29. A micro computer 9 lowers the hole closing pressure by opening a pressure reducing pipe 52 by the pressure reducing valve 7 between a former-state injection and a latter-stage injection. Even if pulsation occurs in the hole closing pressure by the former-stage injection, the pulsation of the hole closing pressure can be converged earlier by regulating the hole closing pressure by the pressure reducing valve 7.
