The method involves determining three-dimensional picture information, dividing a tested volume into several voxels and assigning a measured value to each voxel. A subset of voxel is selected. The measured values relevant to the selected voxels are satisfied to a fixed limit valve. An associated volume area (1) is identified within the selected subset. A surface of identified area is determined. Unit volumes inside the area are identified. A constriction (4) inside the area is determined. The determined information is subdivided into representative and non-representative unit data values.
