The device includes anode rotating in X-ray tube, and yo-yo shaped ring. Yo-yo shaped ring has hyperboloid shape formed using twenty girdle bars (10) extending between first and second crowns (8, 9). Each girdle bar is angled by 50 degrees with respect to plane perpendicular to axis of anode shaft. An Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing a yo-yo shaped ring.
