The lift device comprises a double-armed lever (34) and a hinge arm (31) connecting the two flap parts (12,14). The hinge arm is mounted in hinge sockets (28,29) mounted in the flaps. The hinge arm is designed to move relative to a hinge socket about a first eccentric in one direction and about a second eccentric in the other direction which is perpendicular to the first direction. The hinge arm is held with play by a pin on an intermediate plate so that it can be displaced through the first eccentric which is mounted rotatable in the intermediate plate.
