There is provided a broadcast reception terminal improving power saving ability without missing a desired broadcast content by a user. The broadcast reception terminal (100) includes a display unit (120) for displaying a program content, a state management unit (112) for judging whether to display a program content according to a user operation, and a first processing unit (110) for receiving a digital broadcast wave and decoding the stream information and causing the display unit (120) to display the program content when the judgment is made that the program content is to be displayed and presenting an outline indicated by the real time program information in synchronization with the program content when the judgment is made that the program content is not to be displayed.
