PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite formed from olmesartan or its pharmacologically acceptable ester and azelnidipine, a drug for treating or preventing hypertension, and a method for producing the composite. SOLUTION: This composite is formed from olmesartan or its pharmacologically acceptable ester and azelnidipine. The method for producing the composite comprises a step of depositing the composite from an inert solvent solution of olmesartan or its pharmacologically acceptable ester and azelnidipine.
