摘要 PURPOSE: An active matrix electroluminescent display device is provided to maintain the gate voltage of the driving thin film transistor, to increase the storage capacitor, to reduce the parasitic capacitor caused by a source and a drain electrode, and to decrease the short possibility between a source and a drain electrode and/or power line and upper capacitor electrode. CONSTITUTION: The active matrix electroluminescent display device comprises a substrate(10), a driving thin film transistor formed on the substrate, the first capacitor electrode connected to the gate electrode of the driving thin film transistor, the first insulator layer(41) formed on the first capacitor electrode(31), the second capacitor electrode(32) connected to the power line and electrically disconnected to the first capacitor electrode, and the second insulator layer(42) formed on the second capacitor electrode. The driving thin film transistor includes a gate electrode(25), a source electrode(26), a drain electrode(27) and controls the current supplied to the electroluminescent device via power line. The second insulator layer has a connection hole to link the second capacitor electrode and one of the source electrode or the drain electrode. Forming the source electrode and the drain electrode over the second capacitor electrode where the second insulator layer is inserted into the second capacitor electrode reduces the parasitic capacitor and increases the storage capacitor.
